Health & Safety

We prioritise the health, safety and welfare of all our employees, sub-contractors, customers, visitors and members of the public at all times. Safety Standards across Q Crane & Plant Hire are set high and monitored and reviewed by our SHEQ and Service Manager across the business.

Environment

We are committed to the protection and enhancement of the environment by having efficient ways of working. We regularly review of our environmental aspects and impacts register as part of our procedures and take great pride in ensuring we play our part to sustainability.

We recycle waste that is recyclable and only use approved licensed waste carriers who share our ethos and values when it comes to the reuse and recycling of waste.

As a company we are constantly looking at how we can improve by reducing our carbon footprint and one of the key aspects we have reviewed when investing in our fleet is introducing the latest fuel-efficient engines for our equipment and vehicles. We also view journey planning as an essential part of minimising journeys to reduce our carbon emissions as a responsible business.

Our commitment to all of our customers is to supply reliable, efficient and well-maintained plant and equipment that is fit for purpose. Equally we are also committed to providing competent, trained and skilled operators to support the safe and efficient delivery of our customers projects on site.

We strive for excellence in every element of our business and we work hard to obtain and maintain the following accreditations that we have been awarded that are testament to our operating and management procedures, including OHSAS ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management and ISO 45001:2018 Health & Safety Management.
