We are pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors to Q Crane & Plant Hire Ltd.
Andy Pearson has been appointed Commercial/Operations Director and Rhys Mullins has been appointed Plant & Transport Director.
These appointments are effective from the 1st November 2025 and are reflective of the Companies commitment to strengthening its leadership to achieve our longer terms strategic objectives and is a demonstration of their commitment and loyalty to the business.

Windfarm Substation Contract Lift
We were recently asked by a valued client to supply a telescopic crawler crane for a project in Scotland, lifting precast concrete panels into position to support the construction of a windfarm substation.
As well as the crawler crane itself, we were tasked with completing the lifts under full Contract Lift conditions. Following a detailed site survey, Q Crane Hire provided the method statements, risk assessments, one of our own experienced Lift Supervisors, and all under-hook lifting equipment, supported by a 100T Liebherr Telescopic Crawler Crane.
