Corporate Social Responsibility
Supporting local charities
We continually look for ways to support local charities and give something back to the areas where we live and work. That’s why we launched our ‘Q in the Community’ programme in 2016 a commitment to backing local causes and initiatives that make a real difference.
Over the last few years, we’ve been proud to support a number of community projects across the Oldham area. As keen followers of sport, we’re always especially pleased to help local clubs and schools that provide opportunities for young people, encouraging teamwork, confidence, and positive life skills both on and off the pitch.
Working with schools
Most recently, we funded a brand-new football kit for Crompton Primary School in Oldham, where our accountant Debbie Guilbert’s husband is a teacher and coaches the school team. We’ve also supported Waterhead Warriors Rugby League Club, helping both their boys’ and girls’ teams by sponsoring their playing shirts and kits.
Alongside local sport, we’re committed to supporting those who need it most. We regularly contribute to the local foodbank, making donations that help provide vital support for individuals and families across the wider Oldham community.
Through ‘Q in the Community’, we’ll continue to look for meaningful ways to support local people, local clubs, and local charities because strong community’s matter.
