Find out what Q Cranes has been up to during September – Sept 2026 Newsletter

In and out in the same month

September has been a month of quick turnarounds, as we welcomed three new cranes into the Q Cranes fleet — and saw all three head out to their first projects within the same month.

Getting a new machine ready for its first job takes more than simply unloading it from the truck. Working closely with the manufacturer, our workshop team has put in the time and attention needed to commission, prepare and present each crane to the highest standard, complete with its new Q Cranes branding.

We said they wouldn’t be sitting in the depot for long… And we certainly kept our promise!

All three machines are now out on their first projects and ready to get to work.

    CapjaDocs for Q Cranes!

Our Commercial & Operations Director, Andy Pearson, got his moment in the spotlight this month when he was interviewed by Capja to discuss how and why Q Cranes has adopted their digital documentation system.

CapjaDocs allows us to provide the correct documentation for each crane without relying on physical paperwork.

Customers can simply scan the QR code on the crane to instantly access its certification and documentation.

No physical copies. No paperwork getting lost. No unnecessary admin.

    Just simple, effective crane management.

    Keeping You Moving

Our transport team works tirelessly to move our cranes safely around the country — but did you know Q Cranes also offers heavy haulage services to our customers?

With over 25 years of experience in heavy haulage, we specialise in transporting abnormal loads across the UK. We are also FORS Silver accredited, demonstrating our commitment to high standards of safety, compliance and responsible transport operations.

Our fleet of heavy haulage vehicles is supported by fully compliant private escort vehicles, allowing us to provide a complete transport solution from start to finish. Whether you’re moving a dumper, cable drum, piling rig or other specialist plant, our experienced team can help.

Time to Take in the View

When our teams arrive on site, the priority is simple: get the job done safely, efficiently and to the highest standard. Whether we’re supervising a lift or completing a complex rigging operation, our focus is firmly on the task in hand.

Sometimes, it’s only when we’re back at the depot and looking through the photos and drone footage that we realise just how incredible some of the locations our cranes operate in really are.

From coastlines and harbours to major infrastructure projects and remote sites, our cranes have worked in some truly impressive surroundings.

Over the past month, we’ve been looking back through our gallery and picking out some of our favourite shots — not just for the cranes, but for the views behind them.

Here are a few of our favourites… Because sometimes, it’s worth taking a moment to look up.
